Antique English Sterling Silver Photograph Frame - 1909

Description

Pretty as a picture, the English Edwardian photograph frame is made from English sterling silver fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1909 together with the makers mark for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

The circular frame is decorated with a ribbon and read raised border and topped with a grand ribbon and wreath mount and stands on two lovely little spherical feet.

The backing is the original with a leather finish and incorporating a folding easel stand.

Excellent condition measuring overall 5" wide x 6" tall x 3 /4" thick. The glazed aperture measures 3 5/8" in diameter.
