An Outstanding George II Silver Snuffer Tray

An outstanding silver snuffer tray, dating from the mid 18th Century. This superb piece is of superior gauge silver and features a flying scroll handle. The lobed tray has a piecrust border, featuring flower motifs and four figured shell feet. To the centre is a wonderful armorial featuring three die and possibly suggesting origins in a gaming club or similar. Quality silver from this era is very scarce nowadays and an example of this quality and condition is a very welcome find. Dimensions below.
