A Fabulous Silver Cased Sewing Necessaire

This is a fabulous sewing necessaire with a hallmarked silver body and tools. The tools comprise a hallmarked thimble (replacement) a three cotton spool and a lovely steel ribbon threader/ruler. The silver case has engine turned decoration and the script initials 'BEB' engraved to the top. Antique sewing items are always in great demand and this is a lovely and rather rare example. Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, losses or splits. There is a small dimple to the reverse of the case, commensurate with age and use.
