Large Old Pine Flat Top Blanket Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

A very nice old pine chest dating from c.1915 and in good condition throughout. Recently stripped exposing a clean and tidy bare wood, ready for waxing or painting.

Original carrying handles to the sides and lock and key in good working order. Under the lift up lid you'll find the lovely original strap hinges and candle box.

A deep flat top box, stood on round bun feet, that would make a very nice alternative to a coffee table.
