Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
Please enlarge all the images to see the all the beautiful hand painted details, which are a work of art in themselves. There are abundant floral details, neoclassical details & many colours including gilt work too. The wood is predominately satinwood & my polisher thinks the mouldings are olive wood. This cabinet has lovely small proportions & there are so many intricate details that you need to enlarge all the images to appreciate them. I particularly like the the quality of the painted flowers & the curved fluted columns topped with the acanthus leaf decoration.
