The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working well. The movement is signed American, Waltham, U.S.A. Traveler and it has the serial number 11636019 which dates it back to 1902. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company.

The glass lens has a small blemish to the outer edge at 6 o'clock although hardly noticeable but overall it is in nice condition.
The signed white enamel dial has a very faint hairline crack to the bottom of the sub seconds dial although only noticeable through a jewellers loupe but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
