Description

This is a lovely example, a mahogany fold over table with an elegant flowing cabriole leg and an attractive carving on the shoulder and just under the pretty shaped top. This would make a great console table as it really looks superb. As mentioned the top is shaped with a attractive rounded corner. This top opens to make a shaped square 36ins across in both directions. Could be used as a dining table of course or can be used to play cards etc. Very versatile. It is likely to be French but unlike most it is not walnut. The graining as also good as is the colour, both of which have been greatly enhanced since being French polished.

All in all a lovely table in great condition with good colour and graining from between 1900 and 1920. What more could one want.
