Art Deco Silver Toast Rack 1916

This Elegant ANTIQUE SILVER TOAST RACK has four compartments divided by an Art Deco style frame supporting a central handle. The Silver Toast Rack, made by the well-known and sought after silversmiths of George Unite and assayed in Birmingham in 1916, has an elegant flared rectangular shaped body / base that is supported by four ball feet. The toast rack has five graduated delightfully shaped dividers resulting in four toast sections and the central divider has a shaped handle on the top.

This lovely Silver Toast Rack has not been engraved with any family crests or initials and one end has a full set of clearly defined hallmarks.

This is made from good heavy gauge silver, is of fine quality and is in exceptional condition and could be used as intended as a toast rack or as a superb desk top letter rack or would make a wonderful addition to any collection and would enhance any table setting.
