Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Regency era.
They have drop in seats which have been recently recovered in a welsh blanket type fabric.

Good colour and patina. Fairly solid and sturdy (some slight movement to front legs but not wobbly). Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered – over existing upholstery which is quite firm.
