Sussex Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The other side has a single opening door with more storage. Underneath 3 smoothly running drawers, all fitted with original brass handles. The quality of this cabinet can be seen inside which is made from solid cuban mahogany and even the inside of the doors are inlaid with satin cross banding. The whole cabinet sits on Queen Anne legs. The carving is a particular feature and is crisp and very well executed.
This really is a fine quality cabinet from the period and in excellent condition having been re finished to a very high standard by ourselves.
