Pair of Antique French Gilt Wood Wing Back Armchairs

Description

Original pair of antique French gilt wood framed wing armchairs in good original condition, which have just been re-upholstered in our very popular cream linen fabric, with double piping. The gilt work finish is naturally aged & you can see the red undercoat showing through in the places where it has rubbed through. The carving is also very crisp & fine quality. This very fine looking pair of armchairs date from around the 1860-90’s period.
