A stunning and very good quality early 19th century Dutch marquetry cylinder bureau of bombe form. The mahogany ground having superb floral inlaid decoration throughout. The cylinder opens as the writing slide is pulled and reveals a wonderful marquetry interior fitted with 6 wide drawers, 6 smaller drawers and a small cupboard. The whole raised on splayed bracket feet and retaining the original brass handles with oak linings throughout. Condition & colour very good. Dimensions:- Height…43.25’’/ 110cm. Width…47’’/ 119.5cm.
