Antique English Silver Plate and Solid Oak Egg Cruet

Description

Hard to find these days, particularly in this stunning condition, this English Victorian egg cruet dates to around 1880.

The base is made from a solid piece of English Oak and surrounded with a silver plated frame which incorporates four shield shaped feet which could be engraved if desired.

The five plated egg cups sit on their individual prongs and each has a wonderful gilded interior.

There is a makers mark which I have photographed but am unfamiliar with.

Complete with five spoons, this set remains in excellent condition, measuring 7" in diameter foot to foot x 7" tall.
