The glass is beautifully cut, quite an unusual design, lavish and tactile at the same time. The base has a star cut.
The wonderfully pretty lid is made from solid or sterling silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1912.

Further enhanced, the shell is inlaid with intricate silver pique work. A delightful showy piece in excellent condition measuring 3 1/4" tall with a lid diameter measuring 3 1/4".
