Description

Splendid pair of French Belle Epoch era Louis XV style open armchairs c.1900. Shapely carved wooden frames with pierced detail to the top rails, swept arms with upholstered tops, and a graceful curve to the front legs. Retaining the original gilding. Upholstered backs and sprung seats in a ribbed chenille fabric, serviceable but with some very minor marks. Good condition, with some minor damage to the gilding. We also have a matching couch for sale.
