A 1920s Rands Stem Winding Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1920s Rands stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The nicely jewelled movement is signed Rands, Swiss made and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model by the England based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition. The inner dust cover has some marking / surface scratches from use.

The watch glass has light surface marking from use although verry acceptable.

The white enamel dial is signed Sims, East Street, Southampton. The dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
