A beautiful and totally original Art deco sculpture from the first half of the last century. Depicting a figure of a woman who is reading to her young son from a book. The sculpture is signed on the base URIANO. Made from spelter and cold painted with the most beautiful detailing, often these details degrade over the years but this one has remained vibrant. The base is solid multi coloured marble. The two metal sculptures show a beautiful age-related patina and unlike the modern trend it hasn''t been over sprayed and unsympathetically restored, this figure is totally authentic.
