Antique Thomas Russell silver full hunter pocket watch .

The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Thomas Russell & Son Makers to the Queen, Church Street, Liverpool and numbered 82199. The movement hinges out the front of the case, as shown in the photos, and it is protected by an inner cover.

The watch itself measures 52.4mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the three covers for Chester 1890, with a case maker’s mark for Thomas Russell & Son. The case has some fairly gentle unevenness, mainly to the back, and there are traces of the engine turned detail which has mostly worn away.

The small button on the top of the stem pushes in to release the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Tho's Russell & Son and numbered 82199 as the movement number. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
