Regency Style Mahogany Dining Table

1900 - 1920
Description

Regency style mahogany twin pillar dining table

This Regency style mahogany twin pillar dining table was made in the early part of the 20th century by a cabinetmaker using Georgian timber.

At the start of the 20th century there was an abundance of fine timber that a cabinetmaker could use for table tops and then construct elegant tripod bases to fit.

This example is round at the ends and has 3 extra leaves to allow you to have a variety of sizes to use when dining.

The table can be used with 1, 2, or all 3 leaves set in place. There are 2 small leaves and 1 large leaves that make this very flexible.

The table stands on a pair of tripod base with elegant turned columns, and then with fitted solid brass claw toes with castors under.

Imagine enjoying entertaining around this dining table with your family and friends
