Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
It has a platinum case and we have calculated that it has 9.6cts of the most exquisite mixture of old European cut diamonds which are deeper than modern day cuts and Baguette cut diamonds which are incredibly white, bright and crisp, the sparkle they generate is absolutely amazing and are of exceptionally high grade in colour just as you would expect from one of the worlds top jewellers
A fully serviced Rolex calibre 1400 from the 1960s.

The shoulders are articulated so it simply glides around your wrist, it is very reminiscent of the Art Deco era in design, classic and elegant - this is not just a timepiece but a beautiful piece of jewellery.

It fits a wrist size of up to 6.75 inches or 174mm but this can easily be reduced by any competent jeweller by removing indidual diamond links, if you remove two you could always make them into earings!

The dial is absolutely perfect, in mint condition with no marks or scratches and the actual case measures 19mm in diameter excluding the winding crown.
It was created by Collingwood Ltd of London who were crown jewellers to King George VI and it comes with its original presentation box. This watch has a fantastic design and would have probably been bespoke made for a very special lady, a rare find indeed.

This is truly an exceptional piece and unique.
The movement has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under high magnification for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.

The watch movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. the cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof pressure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many many years.
