English Hobnail Cut Crystal Inkwell - Sterling Silver Mounted

Description

A very handsome antique inkwell with the ever-popular hobnail cut .. decorated on all four sides and the underside with a star cut.

The inkwell is mounted with a solid or sterling silver hinged lid, in perfect working order and hallmarked for Birmingham 1916 together with the makers initials J.G &S mark for John Grinsell & Sons.

The interior retains it's small removable glass ink chamber for easy cleaning.

Excellent condition without damage and measuring 2 1/2" x 2 1/2".
