A Fine Quality Walnut George I Style Chest on Stand

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine quality walnut George I Style chest on stand. The upper section with a polished rectangular walnut top and a block moulded cornice, above two short and two long oak lined drawers, with beautifully figured walnut drawer fronts with herringbone banding and traditional engraved brass handles and escutcheons. Having reeded canted corners and walnut sides. The lower section with three rectangular oak lined drawers again with fine walnut veneers and traditional handles. The chest supported on cup and cover baluster supports with turned bun feet, united by a shaped under-tier. English circa 1900-1920

Dimensions: 56" high x 32" wide x 20" deep

Condition: This chest on stand is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
