An excellent choice of walnut veneers, quality English oak for the liners and twin pin brass locks.

The finely figured book-match veneered walnut rectangular top enclosed by a cross-banded boarder and end-grain thumb-moulded edge, over four graduated serpentine shaped and block fronted walnut drawers fitted with pierced brass drop handles and escutcheons plates. Each drawers having hand-cut dovetails and solid oak front to back liners with twin pin locks.

Raised on cabriole legs with carved shell to the knee and shaped ears finishing on a pad foot.
Offered in excellent condition having been carefully restored using traditional methods, this chest of drawers has achieved a beautiful colour over the years.
Note the very rare shape and excellent colour.
