Art Deco World has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The casing is a green mottled colour, gleaming and shiny as the day it was first produced. The centre dial has a superb swirl carved detailing with almost a lime green coloured bakelite highlighting the chrome numerals. The hands, numerals and linear lines to the casing are chrome and in tip top condition with no pitting or tarnishing. Wind up mechanism means you don't have to worry about balancing and timing pendulums. This is a good sized clock and would make a real focal point to a mantle piece or maybe sideboard or desk. These clocks are very desirable and retain their value well and don't come onto the market very often, an extremely rare clock even in the normal red/brown combination - I am yet to find another green one. This clock comes to you in great condition with no damage. Even the movement looks clean as a pin and still has it's original key which is cleverly housed in a slot on the back.. A time piece a real Art Deco connoisseur will love and admire. We've had this clock fully serviced so comes to you in excellent working condition and keeping very good time.
