Description

A superb quality Victorian Wellington Chest in beautifully figured mahogany. The rectangular shaped top with double moulded edge above the 12 graduated drawers each retaining the original turned pulls. The drawers are secured in place by 2 moulded pilasters with working lock and keys. This attractive Wellington chest is raised on a moulded plinth base, is in excellent original condition with a wonderful patina and warm glow. Maker’s label to verso for “Crowe & Son of Norwich”. Dimensions:- Height…46.5’’/ 119cm. Width…22.5’’/ 57cm. Depth…16’’/ 40.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
