Circa 1930 Heavy Cut Glass 'Mushroom' Lamp

1920 - 1940
Description

Circa 1930, this unusual and very well made cut glass lamp has been rewired to UK specifications using clear cable to blend in with the glass.

The lamp measures approximately 20cm in height and 20cm across the widest part. The base is 4.5cm in height and the mushroom shaped top fits securely in the central well.

The design of the glass can be seen more clearly in photo 3, especially the star burst on the top of the shade, and the lamp is heavy and solid.

It is in very good condition and we have managed to keep the original switch in place using a support underneath to comply with regulations and ensure safety. The light takes a standard size lightbulb and we would recommend an LED bulb to avoid heat.

Postage and packing within the UK mainland only is included in the price but for outside areas or abroad, please contact us for a delivery quote.
