Description

A George III Mahogany Wine Cooler.

The rounded rim, above the oval body, tapering slightly inward and downward. The body coopered with two broad brass bands, the ends mounted with lion mask ring handles. The interior with original lead lining and plug. The wine cooler sitting on the oval stand, with four outward splayed tapering legs, finished with brass cup castors.

Date c 1770.
