Description

An imposing figured walnut commode, or side cupboard, in the Chippendale style. Of generous proportions and very well constructed in solid walnut with attractive figured walnut veneers onto a solid mahogany carcas. Of serpentine outline with 4 opening doors. The two end doors are of concave form. All doors are lockable (keys supplied) and they open to reveal shelved interiors. All standing on strong cabriole legs with carved detailing to the knees and terminating in characteristic ball and claw feet. There is also a crisply carved skirting above the legs. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent overall condition, with a great colour an patina, ready to go straight into the home.
