French Inlaid Rosewood Bureau De Dame Dated 1868

Description

Fine quality mid 19th. century french inlaid rosewood and fruitwood bombe bureau de dame. The shaped fall inlaid with musical trophies and bears in inlay initials and date 1868. Similar inlay to sides. Fine shaped fitted kingwood interior with well. Raised on slender cabriole legs with ormolu mounts. All in fine original condition. Fine colour with high polished finish.

Size; 28" wide, 35" high, 17" deep. 26" high to fall open.
