Antique 1908 Sterling Silver Snuff or Pill Box with Pearl Cabochon

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine example of an oval Sterling Silver box. It is superb quality with scrolling detail around the lid and base. The hinged lid is adorned with a pearl cabochon in a silver mount. The box opens to reveal a silver gilt interior inscribed 12th December 1906.

It is fully hallmarked for Cohen & Charles, Chester, 1908.

It is in excellent condition with a clear hallmark. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and very minor dings and a few light scratches on the bottom but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished is ready for use.
