Description

A stunning pair of 19th century George II style Mahogany Barrel Back porters armchairs dating to circa 1860, the chairs upholstered in gold velvet, standing on oversized carved ball and claw cabriole legs, these chairs are breathtakingly beautiful and will compliment any room, these chairs are aged to perfection with real character and presence, personally I would leave the chairs as is but you may want to re upholster, the high barrel backs are ideal to fall asleep in whilst relaxing, very comfortable.
Condition: The chairs are structurally sound with solid frames with no weakness to the joints, the material is worn and aged with minor marks and stains through use and age, there are no signs of past or present woodworm, the chairs would benefit from being re upholstered.
