Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.

We cannot find a foundry mark, but the details on the uniforms, shields, and headdress are top quality, very sharp and clear, and the sign of good production. Some of the images have been lightened to show the excellent details including the additional shields and emblems around the bases.

Both figures are in very good condition with no signs of damage. The long spear one figure is holding had broken in half whilst in the previous owner's possession, and we had a new, dark brass one made and this can be seen in the last few photographs.
