A Pair of Italian Carved Wooden Blackamoors
These charming statues stand over 6ft high, they each hold a heavy glass lamp
Due to the age of these there is chipping of the paint and some evidence of the wood having dried out over the years giving rise to some slight cracks, both of them have sustained a little chipping but all in all good pair
The original Candle Prickets have been replaced with large Art Deco Glass Flame Shades, (the wiring is new)
The statues are 19th century their bases are not original, these date from the 20th Century
The lamps are 77” tall and the bases are 18” in diameter
