Truly stunning early 19th century mahogany 2 door bookcase ,

The doors being 2/3 rds part glazed ( with original glass ) and the bottom 1/3rd having "sunburst" flame mahogany veeners and an ormolu wreath mount .

The 2 doors opening to reveal 4 adjustable shelves and the locking mechanism is all in working order and supplied with a key

The whole piece comes apart for ease of transportation

All in all a very handsome and usefull piece of furniture this piece has been through our workshop and has been cleaned and polished and has a wonderful patina

French circa 1830's

H 87 inches or 221 cms

W 60 inches or 152.5 cms

D 18.5 inches or 47 cms
