An Antique Silver Pocket Watch, 1918.

Description

An antique silver pocket watch, 1918.

The watch has a nice quality 15 jewel, Swiss stem-winding movement, which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and has Birmingham hallmarks for 1918 with the case makers mark for the Dennison Watch Case Co. The case has light surface marking from use and a couple of small "dings" to the edge of the bezel but overall it is in nice condition for a 1918 piece.

The glass lens has a small nibble to the bottom edge at 6 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
