A fine and rare Chinese silver hip flask c.1890 of oval form the body is profusely embossed with bamboo tree decoration and a craggy rock on each side, the bottom section of the flask is removable to use as a cup and the front of the flask has a monogrammed shield cartouche. This elegant silver flask has a screw top lid and is hallmarked inside the cap marked HC along with Chinese script; the flask is in wonderful condition and measures 5 ½ inches in length weighing 270g.
