Regency Rosewood Fold Over Games Table C.1835.

Description

Very handsome Regency rosewood fold over games table c.1835. Stands flat against the wall as an elegant console or side table or twist and open the top to make a table for four people with a circular green baize playing surface for cards. Beautiful top with highly figured and symmetrically arrange rosewood veneers and a thumb moulded edge over a crossbanded and matching veneered apron. Raised on a tapering column with fine carved detail on a shaped plinth and carved feet with castors below. Excellent condition and attractive mellow colour, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
