Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1910s.
Beautifully shaped with hand-chased raised decoration and two fabulous removable handles. Once the handles are removed, the lids can be turned upside down to create four open serving dishes.
The underside of both are signed by the top-notch silversmith, Walker and Hall. Being Walker and Hall, we are able to date them accurately to 1914/1916, a true antique pair.
Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age. Each measuring 13" x 10" x 6" tall to top of handles.
