Description

Mid 19th.c. walnut centre or dining table c.1860. A little larger than many we see with a 48" x 60" oval top big enough to comfortably seat 6 people. Beautifully figured burr walnut veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern on solid mahogany groundwork. With a thumb moulded edge and shallow apron below, veneered to match. Over a turned and carved column pedestal raised on shaped legs with carved floral detail and scrolling acanthus leaf feet with brass castors. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Note the top is removable for delivery.
