Pair of larger-scale mid C19th Chinese ormolu-mounted Cantonese porcelain lamps.

Good pair of Chinese porcelain bodied lamps with "Famille Rose" palette enamel decoration and with well-cast rococo ormolu bronze mounts to top and base.

The bodies with typical Cantonese Export style decoration with figural court scene panels interspersed with floral ,butterfly and bird designs reverses.

In excellent original condition. Originally conceived as oil lamps , the reservoirs have been removed and the lamps have been required and tested using period style fittings and traditional style cotton-covered twist flex.
