A Small and Very Attractive 12 Drawer Mahogany Collectors Cabinet, Late of J.c.dale and E.r.dale. Circa 1870.

Description

A very attractive and versatile solid mahogany throughout, 12 drawer collectors cabinet late of the famous and emminent entomologist, j.c.dale and latterly his son e.r.dale whose signature is applied to the back of the cabinet. This cabinet is circa 1870.

The cabinet is in good condition and has twelve drawers all with closely fitted glazed frame tops. The original lock and key are present and fully functional. Originally designed to house and display a collection of insects but will lend itself to a multitude of collecting pursuits.

Of small proportions, this cabinet will easily be accommodated.

Re-papering or plastazote lining our speciality.
