Description

A Gents Longines steel wristwatch dating to 1953. This is the calibre 22a automatic mechanism which was Longines first introduced in 1945. A gilt two tone dial with Arabic numeral quarter markers and diamond batons. A subsidiary seconds dial and gilt hands. A stainless steel case, back marked 'Antimagnetic/Waterproof/Shockproof'. Case ref 6488, serial numbers 9042713.
