The cover painted with hanging leaves, and surrounding wild flowers, enclosed by a beaded rim.

The bodies, of classical vase shape, likewise decorated with hanging leaves, and sprigs of wild flowers, above arcadian scenes of fishermen, ladies with laden baskets, and playful dogs, all beside a river bank, with sailing boats, and landscapes beyond.

The reverse sides painted with scenes of anchors, and bundles of goods, set upon leaves and foliage.
The vases tapering to rising flutes and reeds.
The vases standing on an outward and downward spreading foot, with a square plinth, decorated with leaves and sprigs of flowers.
The vases mounted with rams head handles.
The undersides marked VP, for Veuve Perrin, 1748 – 1803.
