Description

Very rare Jonathan Jones London month-going longcase clock movement and dial in a walnut marquetry case, London, circa 1690.The 12 inch dial with cherub and leaf spandrels, silvered chapter ring, finely matted centre with seconds dial and date aperture, signed Jonathon Jones .The case with flat top and moulded cornice above ebonised spiral hood pilasters, the walnut veneered trunk door inset with a lenticle and further decorated with marquetry panels, the sides crossbanded.
