The carved Walnut, Frames are also in excellent condition, they have tapering cabriole legs carved with acanthus leaves and the face of a charming Angel or Putti in the centre back of each piece, this carving is also shows on the reverse a sure sign of the quality of the set and makes it a good looking set when viewed from any side
The Sofa is 53” long, and 41” high at the back, the Armchairs are 29” wide and 39” high at the back
