Antique Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier C1880

Antique Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a mirrored back set within a mahogany frame with a superb carved and pierced central cartouche leading down to scrolling acanthus leaves to each side. The base has a moulded edge to the top above two serpentine frieze Drawers and two arched panelled doors with working key separated by a moulded panel and carved corbal support and flanked on either side by a further moulded panel with carved corbal support. Internally and to one side is a single shelf and to the other side there is a shelf above a deep cellarette drawer. The whole being raised on a deep plinth base. The Mirror removes for ease of transporting.
