Description

A very fine Victorian burr walnut and marquetry inlaid centre / dining table. The oval shaped top having a thumb moulded edge with a wonderful band of floral marquetry in various local, imported and stained woods. The centre with a conforming marquetry bouquet of flowers set within the burr walnut quarter veneered top. The superb solid walnut base having 4 out swept legs with carved “C” scrolls and acanthus and terminating in scroll toes with carved flower heads and brass casters. Condition:- Very good, the table has been re-polished in our own workshops to a very high standard using traditional French polishing methods. Dimensions:- Height…30.75’’/ 78cm. Width…60’’/ 152.5cm. Depth…46.5’’/ 118cm.
