A Superb Exhibition Quality Mahogany Late 19th Century Side Cabinet

Description

A superb exhibition quality mahogany Late 19th Century side cabinet after an original design by George Hepplewhite. Constructed throughout using the finest mahogany. Of bow front outline and with a finely carved frieze depicting attendant griffins by a flaming pedestal with further finely carved floral detail. The front has eight flamed mahogany panelled doors with fine quality carved anthemions and beading. Having exquisitely carved column supports and supported on turned carved and reeded feet. The finest quality throughout including an oak panelled back, possibly made by H. Samuel who manufactured fantastic copies of period furniture in the Late 19th Century. English circa 1880-1900

Condition: This cabinet is in stunning condition, cleaned and waxed
