Description

A wonderful elegant mahogany serpentine fronted chest on chest in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. Of excellent construction in solid mahogany and with stunning flame mahogany veneers, and oak lined drawers. The top section has an arrangement of 2 short over 3 long drawers. The base section has a further 3 long drawers, all sitting under a pull-out brushing slide with an inset leather surface. All drawers fronts are cross-banded and they are fitted with their original ornate brass handles. The top section has canted corners and the whole piece stands on bracket feet. Offered for sale in excellent overall condition, with a rich colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
