The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The center framed with a ring of gilt arches with hanging bellflowers is replicated in a band around the outside of the cup. The serpent handle is also richly gilded with finer detail to the head. The cup is marked with gold pattern number 1590 I think. This specific cup design dates to c.1817-1825.

The cup measures 12cm (4 3/4") rim to handle, 9.5cm (3 3/4") rim to rim and 6cm (2 3/8") high. The saucer measures 14cm (5 1/2") wide and 2.2cm (7/8") high. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and minimal surface wear. There is a small fault to the foot rim of the cup original to manufacture.
